The first round of the British Championship was held at Rowrah
in Cumbria. On Saturday April 3rd, Round 1 of the Championship,
I gained the most places in my two heats and the Final compared
with any other driver. The total number places I gained was 36
places; 13 in my first heat, 15 in my second heat and 8 in the
final. As a result I won the Cadet Hard Charger award. In the
picture below, I'm seen wearing the presentation T-shirt.

A summary of the highlights since I started racing in 2005
I
say goodbye to Comer Cadets..........
My racing career in Comer Cadets came to an end in 2010 as I have
to 'move on' due to my age. Below is a summary of the 'highlights'
since I started racing in 2005. For more details and images of the
various events, see either my Racing History for each year, Latest
News, Super One or British Championship reports.
2005 * February 19th ~ I took and
passed my ARKS test at Shenington Kart Club. This allowed me to
start racing................. * March 26th ~ I won the Novice
trophy at Camberley Kart Club ~ I had been racing for less than
a month! * September 24th ~ I won my
first Cadet Heat and came 2nd in the Cadet Final at Camberley Kart
Club. I was the youngest in the race. This was reported in the local
Newspaper.
After
winning my first Cadet Heat in 2005.

I came 6th in the Camberley Kart Club Championship at the end of
my first season in racing.
2006
This was my first full season of racing........... * April ~ I won my first Cadet
Final at Camberley Kart Club. * July ~ I represented Camberley
Kart Club in the Cadet class at the King and Ace of Clubs meeting
at Whilton Mill, near Daventry. * July and August ~ I won the
Cadet Finals at Camberley Kart Club. * December 23rd ~ I won the
Camberley Kart Club Championship, with three wins, three seconds
and three thirds in the twelve round Championship. I was reported
in the local press. * I came 4th in the Shenington
Kart Club Championship. * I came 2nd in the Shenington
Kart Club Winter Championship.
2007 *March 18th ~ I crossed the
line in the Shenington Final as 1st Championship contender. * April 15th ~ I obtained the
fastest lap and equalled the Shenington Kart Club Cadet lap record.
* May 26th ~ I won the Cadet
Final at Camberley Kart Club.

June 2nd and 3rd ~ I won two Heats at the Forest Edge Kart Club. * August 19th ~ I had my first
Pole position at Shenington Kart Club. * August 26th ~ I broke the
Lap Record at Whilton Mill. This was then beaten* by another driver,
putting me 1/100 s off the lap record.
September 2nd ~ I entered the Midland Championship meeting at Rissington
Kart Club. I won all of my heats and the Final to become Cadet Midlands
Champion. * October 21st ~ At Shenington
Kart Club, I was the fastest Cadet during the whole meeting which
included several British Championship contenders including the 2007
British Cadet Champion. * November 25th ~ I obtained
the fastest lap in Heat 1, Heat 2 and the Final at Whilton Mill
Kart Club. * I came 4th in the Whilton
Mill Kart Club Championship. I had three second places in the Championship
Finals. * I came 2nd in the Shenington
Kart Club Championship, missing 1st place by 8 points. * I won the Shenington Kart
Club most promising Cadet driver award for 2007.
2008
This was my first season competing in the British Cadet Championship. * February 27th ~ I was mentioned
in MotorSport News. I also had my picture taken with the trophies
that I had obtained since 2005.

May 18th ~ I came 1st in the Final and obtained the fastest lap
at the 5th Round of the Shenington Kart Club Championship. * May 25th ~ I won my first
Heat at a British Championship Round at the Cumbria Kart Racing
Club, Rowrah.

* September 7th ~ I obtained
the fastest lap at the Midland Championship Meeting. * September 13th ~ I obtained
the fastest lap at the final British Championship round at Shenington
Kart Club and a new Cadet lap record. * September 21st ~ I obtained
the fastest lap at Round 9 of the Shenington Kart Club Championship. * November 16th ~ I won the
Shenington Kart Club Cadet Championship.

2009
This was my first season competing in the Super One Championship. * March 15th ~ I won the Shenington
Kart Club Winter series Fastest Lap trophy. * August 2nd ~ at the Little
Rissington Kart Club meeting, I obtained the fastest lap of the
meeting. * August 15th ~ I gained 14
places in the Final, to finish 3rd. This was my first time on the
podium at a British Championship Round. The meeting was at Genk
in Belgium. * August 16th ~ I obtained the
fastest lap of the meeting in the Final of the British Championship
Round at Genk. * At Round 9 of the Whilton
Mill Championship meeting in September, I won the Final and became
Whilton Mill Kart Club Cadet lap record holder. * September 5/6th ~ at the Midlands
Championship, I obtained the fastest lap. This is the fourth meeting
in a row that I have obtained the fastest lap. * October 4th ~ I qualified
on pole on the last Round of the British Championship.

2010 * January 16th ~ I was presented
with my Super One signed number board by current Formula 1 World
Champion, namely Jenson Button, at the Autosport show in Birmingham.

January 31st ~ I obtained fastest lap in Heat 1, Heat 3 and in the
Final at Round 1 of the Whilton Mill Championship. * April 2nd and 3rd ~ Round
1 of the British Cadet Championship at Rowrah ~ I gained the most
places in my Heats and the Final, to win the Cadet Hard Charger
award. * April 18th ~ at Round 3 of
the Dragon Kart Club Championship, I obtained the fastest lap in
Heat 1, won Heat 2 and won the Final with the fastest lap. * May 15th ~ I finished 6th
in the Final of Round 3 of the British Championship at Whilton Mil
Kart Club. * May 16th ~ finished 6th in
the Final of Round 4 of the British Championship at Whilton Mil
Kart Club * May 19th ~ at Kimbolton Kart
Club, I won the first Heat, I won the third Heat and obtained the
fastest lap in the Final. * May 29th ~ I qualified 2nd
fastest in timed qualifying at Round 3 of Super One at the Ulster
Kart Club in Northern Ireland. * May 30th ~ I finished 5th
and 6th in the Finals at Super One in Northern Ireland. * June 19th ~ I qualified on
pole at Round 4 of Super One at Rowrah. * June 20th ~ I finished 5th
in the Grand Final of Super One at Rowrah. * July 18th ~ I was invited
to race in a Cadet Easykart at Whilton Mill. I won my first Heat
with the fastest lap. I won the pre-final and won the Final, obtaining
a new Easykart Cadet lap record. * August 7th ~ I qualified on
pole at Round 5 of Super One at the Dragon Kart Club at Glan-Y-Gors. * August 8th ~ I finished 2nd
in my second Heat at Glan-Y-Gors, obtaining the fastest lap and
a new Cadet lap record for the circuit. I finished 6th in both the
Final and the Grand Final. * September 5th ~ I finished
both the Final and Grand Final in 5th position. * September 25th ~ I qualified
2nd fastest in timed qualifying at Round 9 of the British Championship
at Wigan Kart Club. I 'missed' pole by 1/100 s. * September 25th ~ I finished
6th in the Final at Round 9 of the British Championship at Wigan
Kart Club. * October 17th ~ I finished
2nd in the last Final of the 2010 British Championship at Ellough
Park. This was my last race in Cadets in the British Championship.

* October 23rd ~ at my last
Round of Super One at PFi near Grantham, I qualified 2nd fastest
in timed qualifying behind the 2010 British Cadet Champion. * October 24th ~ I started in
pole position for the first Final of my last Cadet Super One event.
I finished the Final in 3rd position and the Grand Final in 6th
position.
I say 'Goodbye' to my Old Zip Blade ~ this
is my last race in Cadets at PFi 24/10/10.
I finished the Super One Cadet Championship in 5th position. I will
be presented with my trophies {British Championship and Super One}
at the Autosport Show in Birmingham in January 2011. {watch out
for this in my Latest News page}.
In 2010 I have been on the podium {British Championship and Super
One} on 14 occasions and topped the time sheets on 6 occasions.
I have obtained 85 trophies since I started in Cadets back in March
2005.
I am looking forward to the challenge of Mini Max with Tooley Motorsport
in 2011. I hope to be testing my new Mini Max in December.
